The more complete the technical basis, the easier it is to identify suitable suppliers and compare offers. Send what is available; a final make or model is not mandatory.
Commercial basis
Quantity, target delivery, project location, Incoterms or delivery basis where known, preferred commercial terms and quotation validity requirements.
Documentation basis
Vendor document list, certificates, inspection or test requirements, packing/export documentation and any project specific submittal requirements.
